I just returned fromChina yesterday, and I can reply with confidence that China is extremely safe, more so than in my U.S. home in the San Francisco Bay Area. I traveled toBeijing, Xi’an, Changsha, ZhangJiaJie, and Shanghai. Everywhere I found peoplecourteous and respectful.

China is so safegenerally that I fear for Chinese people who travel overseas – they might thinkit’s like this everywhere.

As a Chinese, I thinkthe answer is totally YES. China may be described as a dangerous place in thewestern countries. I can’t and don’t want to deny that this country is sorestricted in politics related issues. Just image that, we can’t even visit facebook, google in China . There is a fucking Great Firewall on the internet. Butstill, I have to say, China is 100% safe for tourists, we don’t have gun shotshere, we don’t have racists carrying a AK47. We can go outside in midnightwithout the worry of mugging . Besides, China is such a large country with somany beautiful places here. So just come and see the real life in China ,don’tbe afraid.
